Note on Socialism (TEST POST)

Muslims should seriously drop the "socialism is haram" argument since there is no theological angle to be argued from whatsoever.

This stems from them conflating the core concept of "dialectical materialism" that's within Marxism with the reduced instantiation of it (socialism), which merely advocates for centralized planning of economics & distribution; all of which are compatible with the governance model outlined by the Sharia.

There is an argument to be made against its economic approaches & whether it facilitates/contradicts the implicit associations to islamic concepts such as zulm (oppression) or mal (property rights), but this requires understanding how various economic systems handle constraints (scarcity management, price signalling, etc), topics most muslims (and people in general) don't seem to grasp; proven by the hundreds of dumb takes I'd see from their twitter posts.

Islamic statecraft is an underutilized field & muslims ought to study if they want to seriously engage in these topics.
